Stars re-record "We are the world"


MTV stars gathered yesterday at the legendary Jim Henson Studios in Hollywood to re-record the Michael Jackson classic, "We are the World." Recorded in 1985, the song was aimed to raise charity funds by the supergroup USA for Africa. Today, the song aims to raise money for Haitian relief. Quincy Jones, who produced the song 25 years ago, is back to re-produce it again.

Artists include: Usher, Jason Mraz, Akon, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Wyclef Jean, T-pain, Gladys Knight, Brandy, Harry Connick JR, Katherine McPhee, Robin Thicke, Josh Groban, Nancy Wilson, Julianne Hough, Justine Bieber, Vince Vaughn, Miley Cyrus, Bono, P!nk, LL Cool J, Jeff Bridges, Barbra Streisand, Nicole Ritchie, Sheryl Crow and more.
